I love this new Heat Analyzer that Billabong brought to the Tahiti website. It allows you to watch a heat from start to finish. But instead of waiting through the whole heat to see the highlights, you can click on the highlights from perfect 10’s, wipeouts and interviews. I think this will become the best way to capture the history of the sport in a real life, heat by heat way. In saying that, Should the ASP own the rights to the Heat Analyzer? For documenting the history of the sport?

shouldn’t the sponsor of the event (the people paying for the webcast camera men etc. own the analyzer of the event.
Yes the sponsor does own the rights for the heat analyzer but I think the ASP should own it so they can document the sport through history because you never know how long a certain surf company will be in the sport for.
