Some great weather for the Santa Cruz event this year, but a tough forecast for surf that had us going back and forth between Steamer’s and Waddel Creek for the heats.
Santa Cruz road trip
I took a trip up with my good friend Matt Lewis and family Jan’11. We scored some good waves and Matt ripped some heats. I rode my hydroflex Chemistry 6’0, soar bamboo fins and 6’1 CI (fort knox model), TK beveled bamboo fins.
