There is a new San Diego surf movie called “Mecca” premiering May 1st at La Paloma Theater. There is going to be live music, free prize giveaways from Volcom, Arnette, and more. The movie showcases Jake Marshall, JD Lewis, Hunter Lysaught, Luke Rife, Darrell Goodrum, Eric McHenry, Derrick Disney, myself and some raw footage of Rob Machado and Taylor Knox, around San Diego’s finest waves over the Winter 2012/13.
It was a consistent winter to be filming with Bryan Johnson(creator of the film) and surfing with the crew from the movie around my local areas in Solana Beach and Cardiff. Im really impressed with how everybodys part came out. I think this will be a sick film for the local groms to froth out on for years.
